Mike Tyson showed eagle-eyed boxing fans on Netflix more than what they were bargaining for during the broadcast of his well-publicized return to the ring against internet sensation Jake Paul on Friday, the 15th of November at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
According to a statement the event organizer Most Valuable Promotions sent to GIVEMESPORT, there were 70,000 fans in attendance with an audience potentially so substantial on Netflix that the streaming of the event seemed to crash, on occasion, for numerous fans who voiced their complaints on social media.
While those fans missed part of Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s fight because of lagging, the broadcaster stitched Tyson up when cameras went backstage to film a wholesome moment between him and his son, who conducted the interview. But the moment when Tyson walked away from the camera, is one when viewers may want to turn away, also, as he pretty much inadvertently bared his behind.

Netflix, perhaps inadvertently, broadcast his bare behind
In the video above, Tyson predicted a “vicious win” over Paul, who is 31 years younger than he is. However, his performance — and, indeed, Paul’s — was anything but vicious as the eight-round bout was tough to watch from a spectator point-of-view.
According to Compubox data sent to GIVEMESPORT, Tyson failed to land a single punch in two of the eight rounds, landed only one punch in one of the rounds, and landed three punches in two of the other rounds. Paul, by contrast, landed more than four times as many shots as Tyson, as he connected 78 times from 278 thrown. Sports should be fun, and this was anything but.

It was repeat, not revenge, for Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano
Earlier in the show, Katie Taylor took home a disputed decision over Amanda Serrano in a Fight of the Year contender to retain possession of all the major championships at lightweight, and Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos split a draw in a brutal, bloody war.
Elsewhere, rising featherweight attraction, Bruce ‘Shu Shu’ Carrington, defeated Dana Coolwell, Lucas Bahdi beat Armando Casamonica, and Shadashia Green took home a narrow win over Melinda Watpool. Neeraj Goyat beat Whindersson Nunes in the only other fight of the night.
